A recent report from ETNews stated that according to their industry insider the Samsung Galaxy Note 21 should be making a return next year that gave many Galaxy Note Fans some Hope but it appears this was incorrect. It now seems as though the rumour mill was right all along as reliable news outlet Reuters have reported the same. The latest report from Reuters is based on credible sources in the industry and states that we will not be seeing a Samsung Galaxy Note 21.
” At present, the South Korean tech giant does not have plans to develop a new version of the Galaxy Note for 2021, three sources said, declining to be identified as the plans were not public “
This was always a likely outcome given that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold has taken the premium spot in the galaxy line up and from early reports it was always aiming to replace the note. As well as the Fold, The Galaxy S series are increasing in size year on year and the Ultra is now at a note size.
The Reuters report also confirms that Samsung is planning to bring Spen support to the Samsung Galaxy S21 & the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. It is reported that the S pen will be sold Seperately for both the S range and the Fold.
So sad news for many but it is the start of a product evolution for samsung and we expect exciting things over the coming years. As always if we here anything new we’ll keep you posted but its looking like there will be no Samsung Galaxy Note 21 next year.
